As a school we use the Target Tracker assessment system which enables us to evaluate and plan for all subjects across the curriculum The school has started to embed the progression of skills and knowledge it provides and will be fully embedding it's use in gap analysis and planning in September. Target Tracker is used in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with a logical approach to its framework. It enables staff to be able to quickly analyse data and provide appropriate support from children.
In order to ensure successful outcomes, it is critical to identify the gaps in learning for individual pupils and groups of pupils. Target Tracker provides gap analysis by subject which can be filtered by group or individual pupil. This can help inform the next appropriate steps and assist with planning; it also provides leaders assurance that no areas are being missed. in primary assessment and early years assessment.
Below are some of the documents provided by Target Tracker to show where the children should be at the end of each year in some areas. Here is an explanation of how it all works.
