School Uniform

Please make sure all items are clearly named

The school colours are dark green and grey. No branded clothing is permitted with the exception of the school logo.

The following items comprise our school uniform:

Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dress

Green & white summer dress

White shirt or green/white poloshirt*                                  

Dark green jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt/sweatshirt cardigan*

Dark green fleece* (optional: for outdoor wear)      

Black/grey/white socks or tights

Black shoes (not trainers)

• Boots may be worn in winter to and from school; however pupils must change into black shoes once in school.
• Water bottles are available from school

Our school PE kit comprises the following items:

• Team Coloured round necked t-shirt (Dover – Blue, Hever – Green, Rochester – Red, Walmer – Yellow)
• Dark shorts
• Sweatshirt and jogging bottoms for winter sports
• Plimsolls or trainers

Jewellery 

Only the wearing of one pair of studded earrings and a watch is acceptable. ‘Smart’ watches are not allowed.

On days when children have Physical Education lessons and/or sporting activities, it is easier if they don’t wear jewellery to school. If children do attend school with jewellery, they will be asked to remove objects before Physical Education lessons or any other lessons where the wearing of such items constitutes a potential safety risk, or their covering with medical tape. Teachers and other members of staff do not take responsibility for the safe keeping of jewellery which has been removed.

Extreme haircuts / Make-up 

The school does not permit children to have haircuts/hair colourings that could serve as a distraction to other children. Mid to long length hair should be tied back at all times. Hair accessories should be minimal and in keeping with the school colours of green and grey. The wearing of make-up, including nail varnish, is not permitted. Likewise, the wearing of temporary tattoos is not acceptable. 

*These items can be purchased with the school logo from LTR Supplies in Teynham (next to the Co-op).  Items without logo can be purchased from shops such as Asda, Tesco, etc. Book bags with the school logo are also available from LTR Supplies. Alternatively a plain back pack is also suitable.  There is no requirement that children have uniform with the school's logo on.

Please make sure that all items are clearly named. If you do lose something, please check your classroom.
