OCMAT offer generic policies for its schools, which are reflected on this website. The individuality of each school’s context means there may be occasions when a school needs to include appendices to the main policy document in line with its own context. As a Trust, we continually review all our policies. Please click HERE to go to our Policies page.

In June 2021 OCMAT approved the implementation of an Interim Governing Board for Lynsted and Norton Primary School.
This is composed of 4 experienced local governors, with the chair being a Local Leader of Governance. The Interim Governing Board will exist for the current and next academic year, with a clear target to implement a focused and well supported Local Monitoring Council for the school composed of local people and parents by September 2022.
Accountability and challenge rests with the Interim Board of Governors, who meet six times per year. The Headteacher, SLT and the SIL report on progress to the Interim Board of Governors at every meeting.
Designated link governors from the Interim Governing Board meet with accountable leaders to triangulate, challenge and monitor progress.
